I asked some hunter in Germany if it is possible to photograph them from a blind but unfortunately I was not allowed to do so. I started some research on the Internet and found Frank Hans from www.natur-gesichtet.de. This guy managed to get permission to put his blinds wherever he likes, so my decision was pretty easy.
The hunting ground in Hungary was pretty amazing and Frank found a pretty good ground for his blinds. We went before sunrise into the blinds and were asked from Frank to stay there until sundown. The great bustards came from their sleeping grounds at 6:30 am and stayed there till 1:00 pm. They were mating and eating.
